How do I set up a website?
In order to set-up a website, you require the following:
- A Domain Name.
A domain name is an address where users can find you on the Internet. An example is www.yourdomain.com. You need to make sure that your domain name relates to your company.

Your website needs to be professionally designed and also comes with features such as a website editor and website statistics.
We can set up a professional website design that suits your companies needs.
What do you need from me to build my website?
You are the one who knows your business the best. Combine that with our marketing and design expertise and you will get the best product for your purchase. If you can supply any of the following, it will save you both time and money:
- Text content for all the pages of your website
- Logos or letterheads to assist with designing the theme
- Digital photos or images to include in the design
- Brochures
If you are unable to supply the above, we do offer services such as content writing, logo designing etc. for you. Feel free to contact us if you have any special requests.
How long does for an average web design to be completed?
We work on 6-8 week timeframe from start to finish for a basic website. If you have purchased other features, such as SEO, Online Catalogue, Online Shop, Customer Login then this time will be extended.
Logo Design can take 3-4 weeks prior to website design commencing due to the personalised nature of the design. This is also dependant on the Client responding promptly to any questions or requests for approval.
SEO is divided into two phases. The Content Writing Phase can take anywhere between 4-6 weeks and this is dependant on the Client responding promptly with approvals and changes. The Reporting Phase goes for 6 months once the website is starting to gain rankings on Google.
Please note that all timeframes given are totally dependent on the Client providing all necessary materials required by OE Design to complete the job. That is, the supply of all content and photos provided by the Client.
What is OE Design's content policy?
As a family business it has always been our policy to never be involved in projects that we feel can be harmful to the family unit.
That means that we will not take on any projects that include any elements of nudity or semi-nudity in any form, pornography, gambling, the potential abuse of substances such as drugs or alcohol, smoking or anything that we deem potentially harmful.
What is OE Design's payment policy?
For purchases under $1500 OE Design requires 100% upfront.
For purchases over $1500 OE Design requires 50% payment at commencement and the final 50% (For Website Design Proposal) via direct debit is to be paid in the second month of the project (using PaySmart*)
When investing in SEO a deposit is initially required and all other payments are spread equally over the timeframe that you have chosen for your SEO Program.
For the collection of any ongoing payments we ve engaged the services of a separate company (PaySmart*). This payment is automatically debited from either your credit card or your designated bank account.
Remember that we offer FREE lifetime technical phone support for all our Clients. This ensures that the needs of our Clients are met to the highest degree of quality.

Who is Paysmart?
Paysmart is an independent financial organisation who assists OE Design to provide their Clients with easy and flexible payment plans. It also allows OE Design to provide their Clients with a convenient and no fuss way of paying for monthly services such as Web Hosting and eNewsletter facilities.
What if I don’t want to use the services of Paysmart?
OE Design requires 100% payment at commencement.
