Small Business owners should become engaged in social media
Peter Sinclair, Chief Executive of OE Design, a web design company, says it is time for small business owners to become engaged in social media.
“These days we encourage business owners to have a Blog function on their sites so people can comment, respond and engage with owners of small businesses.”
OE Design has conducted extensive research on the direction of website traffic over a 30-day period, and three main areas have been identified.
“In the last 30 days, 23.58 per cent of the total traffic to our website has come from referring sites, and out of that 34.46 per cent has come from social networking sites such a Twitter, Facebook and MySpace.” he says.
