OE Design Pty Ltd trading as OE Design - The Web Designers (the Company) is committed to ensuring that personal and sensitive information collected about our customers, franchisee's and employees is gathered with respect to the individual and managed responsibly in accordance with the National Privacy Principals of the Privacy Act 1998.
Our Privacy Policy, as outlined below, is for Australian operated franchises only and includes details about the type of information we collect, how this information is used and disclosure of such information.
Customers
Through our stores and official website customers have the opportunity of participating in loyalty and feedback programs. By participating in these programs customers have the option to supply personal information including their name, address, phone numbers, email address and opinions to the Company. This information is used for direct marketing and communication purposes to continually improve our product and customer service levels. This assists OE Design - The Web Designers in maintaining it's commitment to providing an outstanding and personalised experience for our customers.
Employees
Personal information provided to the Company through submission of an employment application will only be used for analysis of suitability for a position available. If your application is successful your personal details will form part of an employee record. The Company will only disclose this information when required by law to authorised government agencies i.e. Australian Taxation Office or otherwise as directly by yourself. Any unsuccessful applications will remain on file to be revisited should suitable opportunities arise in the future and if required by the applicant applications may be returned or destroyed.
Franchisee's
Information of a personal and sensitive nature is provided to the Company by potential franchisees. This is provided through our Franchisee Application Form and during Discovery and Behavioral Interviews. All information provided is used to assess the suitability of the applicants becoming OE Design Franchisee's. Consent is requested at the time of application for the Company to make enquiries and verify the accuracy of such information, this will be the only time the Company may disclose such information to third parties unless required in accordance with the Privacy Act. An applicant has the opportunity not to provide certain information requested, however this may hinder the process of assessing their suitability. If your application is successful your personal information will form part of an ongoing franchisee record. Should your application be unsuccessful you will be given the opportunity to have the information collected returned to you or destroyed.
Disclosure Of Information
The Company will take all reasonable precautions to ensure all information provided is kept confidential and remains within the OE Design Franchise System. Personal and sensitive information will not be disclosed to any other parties without your consent unless required in accordance with the Privacy Act 1998.
